Montana Bullet Works
« on: December 08, 2008, 05:32:14 PM »
Has anyone used Montana Bullet Works 500 grain paper-patched Brooks? I am interested in firing them out of my H&R Buffalo Classic .45-70 using smokeless powder.

Does the H R have the same twist as the sharps barrels?   I was also led to believe that smokeless powder wouldn't bump up undersized bullets so the patched bullet has to be .458 in diameter which would mean that the slick should be about 451 diameter.
