I shot with the Zen Shootists yestiday at the Fort Des Moines Rangers range in southern Iowa, Had a fantastic time! Even got "flipped off" by one of the cowgirls! :eek:  (all in good fun though) Started the match shootin Frontiersman and was doin purty good fer my first time out in that Class. But I noticed I wasn't holdin up  my end with the posse duties so I changed over to Frontier Cartridge fer the rest of the match.  I'm gonna halfta invest in a bunch of spare cylinders before I try it again. But I gotta tell ya, them 58s are sure fun to shoot in competition!!!! Plenty accurate and lots of power to hammer the knock downs! 8)

I shot Frontiersman at an all blackpowder shoot in August. I used '51 navies. Not only was the loading slow, but so was my shooting!!!!

It was fun though!

I am going to shoot a bit of black this weekend if all goes well. I cast a bunch of round balls tonight to shoot out of my Navies.
