Question for Fox Ridge customers
« on: June 02, 2004, 05:00:55 AM »
For those who hjave ordered barrels from Fox Ridge. How long does it take to get a barrel from them when you order them. I know it could vary but I wondered about kind of an average time span from order to delivery. Thank you!!
shot placement is everything.

Mine took four months.

This was partly because they had to special order the blank.

Last one I ordered they told me 8 weeks at the time of order and it took......8 weeks.  I would call and ask them for the leadtime.  From my experience and what I have heard from others their estimate will be pretty close.

Fox Ridge estimated 12 wk last fall for a 7mm08 heavy barrel, but I got it in about 7 weeks.  (in time for a Dec. deer season).

Thank you very much. I am looking right now at a 260 rifle barrel and a 260 or 7mm-08 pistol barrel and last for now, A heavy 223 barrel. I will have to space them out a little because of financial embarrassment. :)
shot placement is everything.

I got mine in about 10 weeks. The shop drilled and tapped it for a Marble Arms front sight ramp which I requested. I had to send them the ramp, so that probably slowed them down a week or two. They usually install T/C front and rear sights.
