i am a recent new member, and have enjoyed this site very much since the day it found me. i am mostly into rimfire guns, and small game hunting , but having grown up on a farm and used to the outdoors life, i find i actually have lots of interests. I am self employed in the midwest, i have welding fabrication shop that speicalizes in industrial wood working machinery, but capable of doing a lot of other things. My business burnt to the ground a few years ago, and i lost everything. The day after my fire, my ex-wife and bookkeeper informed me that she let the insurance lapse, so ireally did lose it all. I have been trying to rebuild ever since, i have fulfilled obligations with customers and have worked hard to rebuild my customer base. Yet i still get my but kicked daily. In an effort to get back on my feet, i sold most all of my posssiions, let the house go back to the bank, moved into a single bedroom home without heat, air conditioning, cable tv, phone etc. and have bared boned my personal life to the extremes to try to keep this business going. I have basically done without my wages for quite some time so i could keep my employees and get back on my feet. Recently the struggle has gotten worse. I have lost my lease on the shop and looking for a new home, i am able to make the payments , there are just other plans for the building. And i have a couple of lawyers who wont stay off my back from some post fire finacial issues. I am a christian and pray about this several times a day. I know the lord loves me and wants me to be happy and content, i just need help to get back on my feet. I feel i have gone through all of this and having had cancer as a teenager for reason, but am still confused as to what the reason is. I ask for your prayers to help me get back on my feet finacially, to help me secure a new place to conduct business, and for my health to hold up so that i can accomplish gods will. i honestly dont think he wants me to quit and walk away, so i am very confused. Your thoughts and prayers would be most appreciated.

thanks for your thoughts, things are so messed up right now, i cannot trully evaluate if i am going forward or backwords. Some things seem to be getting much better, others very worse. i weigth them both out and the balance seems to change daily. Bad thing is i am usually a glass is half full kinda person. Right now, i am really struggling on fighting depression probably more than anything. I have prayed and prayed for answers and direction, and have made all decisions from the heart, yet still question if i have done the right thing. your prayers and thoughts are much appreciated.

I'm still with You Brother.
My tests came back OK for now, have to get another in a couple of months.
Maybe I'm a little jumpy since I've had 2 friends die of the same thing they are testing me for. I dunno.
I can't really offer much in the way of Biblical passages.. All I can say is that prayer seems to calm me. It may do the same for You. No matter how upset I am over a problem I'll pray on it and resign myself to the final answer of the Lord. If it is His will it shall be done.
