Dan Wesson 32-20, Anyone with Experience
« on: February 24, 2004, 02:26:48 PM »
Would appreciate anyone's experience with Dan Wesson in 32-20?, either current or previous production.
Just can't seem to find anyone who owns or has owned one.

Woud like a double action as companion to 32-20 lever rifle, but cautious about the cash outlay.

Thanks

I have never had one, but I can say that unlike the older 32-20 revolvers from S&W or Colt, the DW will safely handle rifle loads in the 32-20.

makes a lot of muzzle flash, in my S&W. I do have a DW in 32 H&R that doesn't seem to have muzzle flash like the 32-20. It doesn't like lead bullet load, only jacketed. I understand that Marlin will be bringing out the 1894 in 32H&R, this year

I have had one for right at 10 years now, I have used it in IHMSA field pistol matches and for shooting small game. It is a good weapon, but with heavy loads it is quiet loud.

Other than being loud, I have had zero problems with mine except for wearing the blueing off from so much use.
