How does one post pictures in this forum? I have a photo of my DW with the 2.5" vh barrel with the small frame hogue grips on it(rubber) I am thinking about taking photos of the gun with each barrel attached and of my box with all the barrels and acessories inside(2 barrel wrenches 4 barrel nuts, 2 front sights, Spare 8" blue barrel, and the 2.5,4 v & vh,6,and 8" SS Vent,(the rest of my barrels are blue as is my frame).
I bought the gun for $250 with just a 6" plain barrel and put the Pistol Pac together myself, buying barrels on auctions and using the various classifieds.The case is just a gun case I bought at the gunshop with those little squares of foam you pull out to fit it to your gun. I fitted it to the entire Pistol Pac and assorted stuff. Unless I can find a 10 or 12 inch barrel I can afford I am done unless i can find some Vent heavy shrouds in the lengths I don't have already(I prefer the way the VH shrouds look and have since Oct 1977 when I saw my first picture of a DW on the cover of the Nov 77 issue of Shooting Times magazine. It was beautful more than life sized with its 6" vent heavy barrel. I fell in love right there at 17. This is my 3rd DW (almost my 4th I had a deposit once on a Pistol Pac{2,4,and 6" barrels only} of Pork Chop barreled 357" case and all but had to let it go as i had a cash flow problem at the time). Wish I could have bought it would make a heck of a conversation piece today. someday I will get another set of the pork chop barreled guns. Someday.
