Beretta model 87 questions

I would like to add another .22 to my collection and am considering the Berreta model 87. I haven't been able to find much info (magazines and web searches) on this gun so I'm wondering if this maybe is not a good choice. Does anybody own or have any experience with this gun with regard to its accuracy, trigger, sights, price ect. Any info on this is greatly appriciated. I already own a Ruger 22/45 slabside w/ ultradot red dot and a Smith .22S (that my son lets me shoot sometimes). Both are excellent guns.

Are you looking at the regular model 87 or the target model?

I would be interested in the target model now that I'm aware there are two types to choose from. Is there a big difference in price? What things could you expect to see in the target model that the other would not have.
