Guys I saw more handi rifles today in one place than I've ever seen in my life.
While at the skeet range today I was told of a Pawn Shop that has increased it's gun business big time. Seems the fellow who bought out the gun shop I've done most of my business at for years used to work at this pawn shop until he decided to branch out on his own and picked up a gun shop of his own. That apparently didn't set too well with his former employers so they decided to show him how a gun shop should be run.
They have more long guns than he has guns period and likely more hand guns as well. I've never seen that many handis in one place so I told him I'd mention his shop to you guys. I encouraged him to get a website so you can tell what he has and told him that advertising his guns here on the classifieds might be a really smart move. Dunno if he willl but if he gets enough calls who knows he might and he sure has a lot of handis to look at.
The shop is:
B&B Pawn and Jewelry
1220 Meighan Blvd.
Gadsden, AL 35901
256-546-4892
They list a site URL of
www.bandbpawn.com but I'm not sure it works and if it does for sure they told me they don't keep their guns listed on it. Perhaps if enough folks encouraged them they would.
I made no attempt to list what they have here as I really didn't try to memorize their huge inventory but I have to admit that no gun shop I've ever been in has even half the handis in stock this shop does. I really am not up on prices but their prices did look pretty cheap to me.
I picked up a Remington Model Seven Predator in .204 Ruger for the next prairie dog shoot while there and got it for about $35 less than the one in .17 Fireball I took to the last PD shoot which I bought at the same shop I've done business with for years which is now run by a former employee of this shop.
The old shop had about five or six employees plus the owner. Two of those still work there for the new owner and two of them work at B&B Pawn. Dunno where the others went.
If ya want to check out their handi inventory give them a call and tell them Bill Graham aka the Graybeard sent you.
