My son Maxed the BDT
« on: February 22, 2004, 10:30:52 AM »
My son Ben(15) maxed the BDT twice today with a Marlin 882ssv .22mag ; 25 yards off sand bags on my truck hood.
Ammo CCI 0023 40gr fmj.
I will post them later. There was gusty wind, calm at times.
He's a good shooter,  8)

Congrats on the good shooting. My Henry 22 mag also likes the CCI full metal jacket with groups running under .5 at 50 yards but 4 of them were in one 30 cal hole with a flyer so I some day with have to try that target also.  Again tell him great shooting!!!!   Jim
Said I never had much use for one, never said I didn't know how to use it.

The last response I recieved from Jon @ Team Top Gun, was over on Marlinowners talk forum. That Forum lost much of it's forum dwellers when they shut down to re-tool about a month ago.

Yup, www.marlinowners.com seems to have become the new Marlin Talk. Lots of the old crowd are there.
