They're "backing" concealed carry for Mr. Petti, and the radical left.  They're NOT backing those rights for the general population.

Having 2A rights comes with responsibilities, this guy had none. He wasn’t a protester, he was an instigator and I believe he knew he might not get to see his parents again, hence his visit before this second confrontation. Whether locked up or dead, he came with an attitude to make something happen…unfortunately for him, he succeeded.

See, now that's the biggest problem with the printed word, especially in internet forums.  Those typed letters don't convey emotion or intent.

BTW; kudos for being able to hide your sarcasm in normal conversation.  I've been practicing, but just can't seem to get the hang of it.

Not sure what news site, but they had one that was pretty clear. Easy to see the one ICE agent grab his gun, but no sound. Some claim the gun went off when the ICE agent had it in his hand, causing the other agent to shoot Petti. I for one, couldn't blame the agent for shooting him. To bring a gun to what are violent protests, caused by the protesters themselves, he wasn't being very smart. With tensions being that high, and adrenaline levels elevated, wont be surprised if it happens again.
