That may be, but it seems reasonably civilized that they should show all of us the same courtesy that we are showing them.

Thats exactly correct! Also upon the founding of our nation.  The founders enacting freedom of religion was meant for the different Christian religions, like presbyterian, Catholic, Baptists, Methodists, Quakers, etc.. They didn't envision third world country religions invading this country. Early settlers were white Christian Europeans. Not Islam, Buddhist, Hindu, or any of the new age crap that has sprung up. To many people get the idea of separation of church and state wrong.

Why? You are government? It’s not a courtesy, it’s keeping government hands off period. Like the right to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed upon… yet, the government tries to govern everything, hell, they’d regulate the air and the water if they could.
