You are ignoring the fact that nominations for this year closed in February shortly after Trump took office. Nothing done after that date counted for his year's award. All those things being touted will count for him getting it in '26.

Well, the ‘prize’ lost all significance the day they gave it to a guy for nothing more than thinking what he’d like to do. Then this same guy goes on to do none of it and in fact, make things worse than ever.
