LOL, Yeah, Bob gets it alright. ;) Trumps constant public taunting of democratic congressional members has really made things run smoother for sure.  :o

His mouth constantly gives them ammunition to use against him, and the gap gets constantly wider, when he COULD BE quietly going about the presidential business, and announcing success after the fact.

Many years ago I worked in a cotton gin manufacturing plant that had a crating department for the equipment to be shipped.
Everyday a diminutive little crater would tell a quiet employee what he was going to do to him, if he made him mad.
After weeks of threats, the employee cornered the little rascal and said: Don't tell me what your gonna do.  Do it, then tell me what you done. That reality check shut the little feller down.

Words to live by.

Hard times create strong men. Strong men create good times. Good times create weak men. Weak men create hard times.

God is consistent: He always chooses the ‘Bad Boys’ to do His greatest work
By M.B. Mathews

Donald Trump is yet another “Bad Boy” whom God has chosen to do some of His best, most important work.

God chose Abraham, a liar and a man who acquiesced to Sarah’s insistence that he sleep with Hagar, a servant, to have a child past their fecundity.

God chose Moses, a murderer, to deliver an entire People from slavery.

God chose David, a deeply flawed rogue who saw Bathsheba, had her soldier husband killed, and then slept with her. They had children, and God took one because of David’s sin.

God chose Samson, Jacob, and Peter, all of whom were deeply flawed liars and unpleasant characters who went on to accomplish great things for the Kingdom of God. They did these things not because they were good men but because they were deeply flawed men whom God chose for a single purpose in the biblical timeline of history, whether for the deliverance of the Jews from Egypt or the building of a People whose numbers would flood the earth forever.

These deeply flawed men teach us that God often chooses the bad boys, the rascals, and the criminals to do His greatest work on earth, all to further the Kingdom of God. Go figure. We can’t.

The lessons should be obvious: God wants us to know that He chooses heroes not because of their goodness but because of their sameness to the rest of us who are sinners and flawed people. Trump is one of the Bad Boys.

If these biblical heroes were perfect, we could not identify with them. But they are imperfect, so that we can, and that is where Donald Trump comes in. I believe most wholeheartedly that God chose Trump for this time to lead the people out of bondage, whether to their enemies or to their internal shortcomings. He chose Trump because of what we see as his flaws.

Trump seems to have a supernatural energy, wisdom, and intellect. While he is certainly not perfect, he is the man getting things done around the world like no one else before him in America, maybe in the world. He knows from whence comes his strength, and yet he still is imperfect. His ego and his narcissistic streak have become part of the biblical lineage of egocentric narcissists whom God chose to do great things. Viewed from this angle, biblical history is still being worked out by Donald Trump, for this time in our lives.

Trump should be viewed through the lens of God’s consistency; God chooses the broken, the flawed, the flamboyant, the egocentric, the sinner to do His biggest jobs. Trump is the latest in that line of God’s chosen ones. God has given Trump a job to do despite his flaws.

The biggest lesson we can learn here is not simply that Trump is among the chosen ones, but that we are equally sinful, perhaps in different ways, but just as broken. And yet, God has chosen each of us to do a job in His service.

Trump just happens to be the most visible right now. May the Lord continue to protect and guide him as God works His will through Donald J. Trump.

Excellent !  I could not have said it as well myself !  DJ Trump is far from perfect...after all, only one man ever walked this earth, who was perfect and sinless...and the politicians of His time, had Him crucified !

An Israeli leader this morning, speaking on One America News,  (paraphrased) said that most US presidents are magnified by the office, but Pres Trump, magnifies the office.

Pres Trump may well not be a perfect man, but he may well be the perfect man for the task God has for him !

Samson was far  from being perfect, especially since he was a dedicated Nazarite.  But Samson was then, only man who could slay 30 Philistines with the jawbone of a donkey, or pull down the pillars of the Philistine temple to Dagon, thereby eliminating Gaza's top leaders.

...And consider this; Samson, though far from perfect, was the only man at the time, who could tear down and carry away the strong, defensive gates of Gaza !

Does that ring a bell ? Has Trump not in effect, diplomatically torn down the defenses of those same type of rogues in that same Gaza?

Some say, "history repeats itself"...and the only difference is the associated human actors..

I would like to know the writer of this piece. He or she has their Bible facts in order, and I would be interested in reading more of their writings. While I don't necessarily see Trump in this biblical lineage he or she illustrated the concept perfectly, and admittedly no one is in power, but by Gods will. . It isn't a run of the mill commentary, but clearly written in the order of biblical truths, but borders on an attempt at prophecy.
Still an interesting piece.

While I like American thinker I tire of the computer acrobatics required to view articles.

Can you explain that? I clicked the link and it looks straight forward to me. It's a group of articles written by the man. Just click the link to read whichever of them interests you. None really interests me so I didn't click them but I do not understand your reference to computer acrobatics. I'm long, long past acrobatics of any kind, computer or otherwise.

After reading 1 or sometimes I get 2 articles, whole page advertisements appear that require at least me to exit the site and either return if I want to continue reading or usually I go elsewhere.

I don't see ads. I actually have three programs on my computer to block them. None get thru to me. Ad blocker plus is the primary one and really all you need. It is free and completely safe. Another I use is StopAll ads. It too is free and safe. My third is also my antivirus program. It's call Malwarebytes. I use the paid version of it but if all you want to do is stop ads the first two do that great and are free and safe.

I would definitely try Malwalebytes . The American Thinker site is one of the easiest sites to navigate. There are numerous writers that contribute to American Thinker, and they are all conservative. One of the sites that have a collection of articles written on many different issues, without any liberal propaganda injected.
