Seems like the choice is clear.......reassign the abundance of ARMED IRS agents to border duty.  And if they refuse, classify it as refusal to perform the job and volunteer resignation.

Nothing new.
Mex criminals and smugglers have been
shooting at sheriff's and BP agents since
forever. Both Bill Jordan and Charles Askins jr
wrote about being on the wrong end of
a gun during their Border Patrol days.
BP agents and law enforcement have been
shot at,  shot, and killed forever.
It's like everything else. It doesn't fit the
narrative to let people know about it.
It took 2 state governors shipping the
problem children to the far corners of the
nation to people's neighborhoods so
they could get an eyeball view and
experience the problem firsthand that
southern border states have been dealing
with forever

  As I stated earlier..  Pres Trump will be rehiring roughly 8400 Spec Ops troops who were forced to quit by the Bidenites over the covid trhing.

  Surely there must be some capable snipers among them...who could start tomorrow, "discouraging" the cartel shooters..
