Apprehensive? Probably not. According to a catholic reporting on Fox News this guy is a continuation of the last guy, and possibly a little more radical.

If you are not a catholic what possible difference could he make? Not being a catholic personally I could care less who is pope or what he says or does.

sadly same crap different day, that said i know many catholic sick and tired of popes trying to make up their own religion and go against long standing views and tradition and this guy is young and will be there a long time. i can see a major spilt in the church comming

  If he wants to help stop one of the major injustice's in the world, it's the killing of millions of people because of their differences in their religion. If he really wants to do something, open the Vatican to the Jews and the Muslims so they can ''break bread'' together and try and settle things without killing each other. I wont hold my breath thou!!

I can't imagine expecting anything other than what we already see from a Muslim, and have  been
seeing for  several  hundred  years.  Rather than breaking bread with a Muslim, eradication seems more productive.
