Blueing Kit and Rear "Ramp Type" Sight
« on: May 03, 2004, 04:44:44 PM »
Where can I find such beasts.  An inexpensive blueing kit would be fine, as I am more concerned about protection than asthetics.  The sight is a replacement for one that is not even there.  It would have to be one that fits on the scope rails.  Any info would help...thanks

It's a stevens bolt action .22, and the barrel is fitted into the reciever, it has to be on the scope rails.  There is one hole in the top of the barrel, but I believe that is a hole for the front screw of the sight, jast as a stabilizer.  It's a Stevens\Marlin 15A .22cal.

the correct rear sight is a leaf sight that screws on to the barrel. It only has 1 screw hole and adjusts with a standard elevator. You can get this from gun parts corp 1-866-686-7424,part # 103920,103470,and 103660.

Thank you Ken.  I see those are exactly the parts I need.  I will be ordering them shortly.   BTW...I see you are from Buffalo.  I am in Perrysburg, about 25 miles south of you.  Thanks again...
