Just started watching the Yellowstone series yesterday evening, the first 3 chapters, a borrowed set of DVD's, and now have three seasons to plow through. Sort of liked what I have seen so far. Multiple murder coverups is in keeping, I suppose, with Washington, DC, Politicians, and the Uber-rich in America.
Wish the daughter wasn't so trailer-trash. For a staunch father [Costner (lead)], her role is a bit unsettling, not really excusable from the writer's feeble high-plain mother's abysmal disaster in the children's upbringing, but probably has some benefits in upcoming chapters, and entertains the redneck viewers. The Indian vs. White man and Reservation vs. "formerly it all was our land" conflicts are tiring...
The rich landowner who wants to develop "Paradise Valley" is a weak character (so far).
