As I have said, Trey Gowdy is the "real deal"; and being a very honorable man, I'm guessing is what made him leave congress.
In this 6+ minute video, he points out, and rightly so...The disparity of attention that missing persons get by
the media. He points out that such attention brings volunteers and funds rolling into help inthe search and family recovery.
https://www.msn.com/en-us/news/politics/gowdy-shouldn-t-all-missing-persons-be-treated-equally/vi-AAPDOiN Big media storyies about Gabby Petito and Natalie Holloway, for instance. That is good, and sure helps in the process.
But how about the decent, upstanding teens or college students who come up missing, and are not pretty, blondes with blue eyes. Their families love and miss them too !
Gowdy IMO is not blaming the public so much as the media, and what brings sensation.
..come to think of it..missing men don't get that much publicity either!
Does it seem like there is a "formula" for sensational news stories..and any others are out of luck ?
