In addition to paper, consider other types of targets. After the harvest season is done, I like to take my very ripe citrus out and use that for exploding targets. You can set them on a slope and shoot below to get them rolling and you can have moving targets with a few shooters trying for them.
In addition try whole orange claybirds and pieces of them with a contender at a bit of range. Makes for nice challanging and informal practice.
