The one and most notable mixed race couple I personally know, a co-worker of 12 years, is a Christian white man from Deep South Alabama who befriended the first black woman in their High School as a shield amid the racial undertones (some of it overt). That friendship blossomed into a love for one another that transcended race. She died not long ago. Their entire neighborhood, their church congregation, our local office (everyone), all of their relatives, and so many of the people their lives touched stopped their daily toil and gathered to pay respect to this woman, to this man, and to their kids for their loss. There was standing room only in the 400-person sanctuary. His words, with a deep respect and devotion to the Lord for her gifts of love to him, were delivered from that pulpit, and there was not one dry eye (but his) in that gathering. What they had, what they found in one another, was Paradise on Earth. They are (to me) a shining example but did not live their lives to be a spectacle. They did not flaunt their relationship. They just LIVED in the moment for one another.
That is not the story that the Media, Hollyweird, Netflix, etc., want to portray to the Low Information Voters and Useful Idiots in America. Pushing the limits of tolerance, corrupting the wholesome, breaking the bubble of censorship, and callousing the minds of the masses to every perverse thing is the Rule rather than the exception for the media.
