College Station Music
« on: January 20, 2026, 07:23:04 AM »

I am listening to the college station 70 miles from here in the Twin Cities (odd occurance as normally all I get that far away is static but the ckear dry sub-zero air makes a huge difference.)

Same station I have listened to , on occasion , for decades when I can, and it is now partly the "Alternative Rock" it was fifty years ago, that is a very calming style, and takes me back fifty  years.
But, now as to be expected they also have some of the current musically devoid, clap-trap debris also.
The local college station , 3 miles away, plays music that is more akin to general rock-station fare.  Not bad but pretty much same-old, same-old.

Current music that is what was once called Top 40, is less entertaining than static on a AM station too far away.
