Quit my job
« on: June 17, 2013, 12:38:43 PM »
When I retired from VSP in 2002, I went right back to work for the same dept. as polygraph examiner, hourly and part time.

Now I don't even have the energy for that.  Radiation treatments are a bear.  So, effective Friday, (2 more exams), I'm a man of leisure.

Anybody wanna go fishing?

Rotenone fertilizer is quieter. We used to call it "liquid trotline".

I totally retired in 2001, been a busy 12 years.  Some days I really miss work, for about ten seconds, then I come to my senses.

What Is A Veteran?
A 'Veteran' -- whether active duty, discharged, retired, or reserve -- is someone who, at one point in his life, wrote a blank check made payable to 'The United States of America,' for an amount of 'up to, and including his life.' That is honor, and there are way too many people in this country today who no longer understand that fact.

Praying for your health to return Mike.  In the meantime, enjoy your fishing, and the life of leisure.  While you're at it, give thanks to him for the life you have left.   I had to retire early for results from a heart attack.
Enjoy your rights to keep and bear arms.

When you go from talking 40+ hours a week to about three, it can shock your system.
Praying for the best for you,  P.A.
