Just like corn, and dead fish as a soil fertilizer in soil that wouldn't grow much else.

The new drug, formally acetylsalicylic acid, was named Aspirin by Bayer AG after the old botanical name for meadowsweet, Spiraea ulmaria. By 1899, Bayer was selling it around the world.[142] The name Aspirin is derived from "acetyl" and Spirsäure, an old German name for salicylic acid.....nothing to do with Aspen.

Then I recalled that quinine (for malaria) comes from tree bark.. the bark of the Cinchona tree  in the Andes.
..But I must confess, I had to look it up!  ;) :D

Anna ..along with others, came up with some great information. With many of us being faced with the consequences of Obamacare, perhaps a "home remedy" forum, along with a clear disclaimer, could be set up.  I would suggest that each entry be headed by the malady is is purported to help relieve..as follows..
SINUS PROBLEMS:   Mullien weed dried, broken into small pieces, inhaled through nose while smoldering.. was used by Senecas  to relieve symptoms.

That way, when someone needs relief, they can quickly find their problem area..
If you don't want the truth, don't ask me.  If you want something sugar coated...go eat a donut !  (anon)

Since it is G-d that heals, whether directly through His Holy Spirit, or through medicine, perhaps that is why He is pouring out His Spirit on all flesh on these end times, because the Great and Wonderful B.O. is trying to thin the herd
of us old God worshiping Saints.
I have heard teaching about this, that no matter how much a secular society tries to prohibit recognition of our God
it can never stop His miracles and His healing.
Anna is on His side, probably best to bless her and not correct her.

A lot of this stuff dates back to the days of alchemy, where a lot of it was lost in the library of
Alexandria tragedy. Likewise in China during their punic wars where it is belived the ancient
Chinese even preformed heart and brain surgery.
But there are a lot of snake oil salesmen out there in herbal medicine that pawn off things that either
do nothing or more harm than good. One thing that's come about recently out of the blue is the
use of super glue like compounds to control bleeding or to close wounds.
It makes you wonder who thought that up but it does work. Some people swear by small doses of
Nightshade to stop arthritis pain but I wouldn't recommend useing that.

Dragon Lilly's are supposed to have the same property's as Aloe Vera but that's another one I'd steer
clear of. A lot of the basic compounds in pharmaceuticals that we are paying so much for come from
plants that grow only in the Amazon rain forests. We attach fancy Latin names to them or abbreviate
that name but they are still natures concoctions. Enter witchcraft, where this practice was thought
to have its roots in alchemy or vise versa. And im not talking about the Hollywood eye of newt
garbage but some so called spells are really a result of being drugged.
Haitian zombies are a good example of this but the use of that drug has been studied for use as an
anasteisha. My fear is as Obamacare kicks in and more people are kicked to the curb to suffer or
die. There is going to be a resurgence of these practices, and possibly even witch doctors or
medicine men and that is no joke its very common even today in some places.

And by the way it wasnt a case of growing corn in the desert I never said that, there is no fish in
the desert. It was a case of the Pilgrims trying to grow European like crops in the new world.
Which was a dismal failure they were starving to death. If it hadn't been for the Indians showing
them this technique and introducing them to corn they all would have died.

Chinese Medicine, as well as western herbology and naturopathy, nutrition, osteopathy, and homeopathy COULD be used to salvage healthcare. Traditional Chinese Medicine has a written history of at least 5000 years' use. Yes, a lot of that was lost in the communist "reeducation" purges, but a lot survived, too. It is used right alongside western medicine all over Asia today, with better outcomes for many conditions than western medicine. For instance, they have used bai liu pi (white willow bark) for fevers, aches, and muscle pain for several thousand years. There are Chinese herbs that can kill C-Diff and MRSA, and CDC labs can't even tell how they work--- on the other hand, western medicine uses less than 10% of known biomedical knowledge. Western medicine certainly has its place, but there are other, much less expensive modes of healthcare available. The problem? None of them are going to make the drug companies any money, and insurance companies don't know how to include them.

By the way, someone mentioned that they did not pay outrageous prices for their IV fluids. That may be, but SOMEBODY did--- and I guarantee you paid more than the 11 cents a liter it actually costs to produce.
If you give up, THEY don't have to win.

"'Cause what they do in Washington, they just take care of number 1. And number 1 ain't you. $__t, you ain't even number 2!" Frank Zappa

The greatest idea the right ever had is personal responsibility; the greatest idea the left ever had is social responsibility. Both take effort.

The Founding Fathers had complete access to the Bible, but they came up with the Constitution as our governing document.

Pattys ins runs out the end of this month so we are shopping around for best cash prices. The Plavix she takes is essential, we did find temp help with 5 of the most expensive ones out of 12.

They've been charging Medicaid for the generic at $234 a month for 30 pills. I told em I needed their lowest cash price and they said it would be $160. She told me to call Kroger because she THOUGHT they were cheaper and they would match their price. We called Kroger and walmart. Both places are $45 for a mo supply. A $190 difference?? Patty chkd another place and found it for $20. The markup on drugs is ridiculous. POWDERMAN >:( >:(

Having to get paid by the Govt. this seems about right. Paper work , maybe more paper work, wait to get paid 90 plus days and maybe more paper work vs. CASH at time of sale.
If ya can see it ya can hit it !
