Remington Md. 31
« on: April 11, 2013, 06:08:35 PM »
I was lucky enough to trade for a very nice Remington 31 16ga with a 26" IC. The nice old gun was made in April of 1939 and never used very much It has a bright clean bore and very good blue with average wood . Still tight and smooth. I didn't have a chance to shoot it when I got home because of the weather. I'll fix that part tomorrow. the only thing I could find wrong is that someone  put an aftermarket recoil pad on it and didn't do a very good job which brings me to my question. Where can I find an in period but plate for thus otherwise nice old gun?
Thanks, Bamartr
