WTH?    Am I missing something here? $190-$220 for a knife made in Taiwan?

i had read of those maybe a
year ago, and they were having
some kind of problem with the
handles crumbling.
i had thought the article said they
were like 290.00 msrp or something.

i think would have to stick with the
10.00 cold steel version. it has
one of the better handles i've used.
still not a fan of scandi grind, but for
the price i work around it.
18 MINUTES.  . . . . . .

You read right. My buddy got a blem (cracked wood) at ~1/2 price, which I thought was a ripoff.

Capitalism at its best.
Willig and Able to pay for the item.  Seems like people are able to buy them but not willing.
Some how I always looked at the Spyderco knives and the Cutco knives as cheap but they work very well and seem to be worth it.

I have always carried a Spyderco Police model or a Benchmade of similar construction.  They both have always maintained a good edge and have been well made.
