JBS on the Agenda of the Media
« on: January 28, 2013, 03:33:15 PM »
One of the oldest and best true Constitutional Conservative Org's in the country IMO, is the John Birch Society. JBS CEO Art Thompson talks about the Media. I think most on the forum will agree with him. Except for the part after 911 ;)

the right/left yardstick is a French Revolution-born human measure. It reflects the political spectrum, which is determined by the people’s range of beliefs. Christians, however (and everyone, in fact), should make Truth their yardstick. This inerrant guide doesn’t compromise and build consensus, either; it’s not a politician. It dictates where reality lies. And in a civilization claiming 2+2=5, it’s with the “extremist” who insists it’s 4. For God’s realism so often is man’s radicalism.

He says, Judeo-Christian nation.   It's a Judeo media and a Christian population.  >:(
Study after study has shown how dangerous distracted driving is yet people continue to talk on their cell phones while driving. Driving in the U.S. requires your full attention. Many states and countries have made it illegal to use a cell phone while operating a motor vehicle and the federal government should follow their lead. Banning the use of cell phones while driving would have the added benefit of making the no-texting law enforceable.
