Me too, but it is a term in legitimate use.  I do tackle this issue in the article, showing how anti-gun groups have misused the term in an intellectually dishonest way.

In the link I went to another page there and it seems that the U.K. Has  four times the violent crimes per capita than the USA.   Hmmm they don't have guns.
