Updated yesterday at 11:41 PM    FRANKFORT, Ky. (WHAS11) -- Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.) has emailed supporters a warning message, the  government is "coming for [their] guns."

Part of the email reads, "The gun-grabbers in the Senate are about to launch an all-out assault on the second amendment, on your rights, on your freedom."

It comes after President Barack Obama said he would ask Congress to renew a ban on assault weapons and restrict large-capacity ammunition magazines.
 
McConnell has said the first test of any new legislation will be whether it infringes on the second amendment

Sad, but those of us who actually did a little research on Obama, knew he was going to do this.  We also knew he would try his second term, because he knew it might defeat him if he brought it up his first term.  If anyone read his books, and watched "2016, Obama's America", they would understand his goals and objectives.  He is at the very least, a Fabian socialist.  He was mentored by communist Frank Davis, his Mother who was a communist, and William Ayers.  He also went to a church that believes that America is only rich because they exploited the rest of the world to get their wealth.  These guys never studied Adam Smith or anyone who knows true capitalism and how it creates wealth. 
 
By creating more government dependents, and disarming society, they think they can create their socialist utopia where everyone is equal in wealth, happy, and non violent.  They are naive in human nature.
