Here's an interesting example of how someone can lie and over think about a fundamental human trait.

Contrary to her blog, God does try to guide us.  he even left us a guide book (Bible) but many turn away from his teachings.  I can't imagine living with no hope.
If a person doesn't believe in God, then he/she must believe in evolution.
they might have monkeys in their family tree, but I am in Gods image thank you.

I agree Bugeye.  Everything the woman posted is inaccurate.

I see it more as a tragic misunderstanding of the human condition. I can understand atheism because it's usually a reasoned decision. And I can understand godliness, for lack of a better term, because it gives context and comfort in life. But I can't understand someone educated in America that is so blind to the simple realities of living. Either that or she made the whole thing up, which is probably the most likely thing.

Archeologists are continuously finding evidence that the Bible is a very good history book, and it all agrees so much that even atheists should take notice.  I pray for them.

BugEye, at the risk of seeming impertinent, I'll say: "Well, Duh!" Of course they're finding more evidence. The Bible is the history of the civilization of man.

I find it mysterious that the bible isn't used more as a practical text as opposed to a religious text. If you read the bible, ommitting some of the boring and not too important parts (Kings leaps readily to mind), it's a book that covers almost everything important in what it is to be human. Very little has changed, and we should realize that and embrace it for the value it has.
