Does anyone know. . .
« on: January 08, 2013, 08:03:47 AM »
What year or serial # did NEF/H&R change from ejectors to extractors?

I have tried searching the forum and the FAQ's but failed to find it.

Thanks!

I don't think it's as simple as that.  When a particular caliber ejector barrel ran out of inventory they made extractors.  As far as I know there was no clearly defined point of change.

What Pete said, the first extractors came out in 2004, all new centerfire rifes were extractors by 2007.
