Tackel Box.
I have a large tackel box with three divided box draws and a large section above.
In the draws I have one box for shotgun stuff, Cleaning rods (taken down) 410, 20, 12, & 10ga cleaning brushes and patch holders.
Box two is all the tools I need to take guns down, sight adjusters, tooth brushes, dental tools, Nipple wrenches and small spare parts (springs, sights, firing pins and other assorted stuff)
Box three is all the metal case cleaning gear, Take down cleaning rods (rifle and pistol) since the box has dividers I have the brushes and jags divided up by caliber.
The top of the box holds cleaning fluids and lubricants as well as Q tips, and the pull through quick cleaning systems for each caliber/ Ga I own as well as cleaning wads.
In a Rubber made box I keep the cleaning rags and the old bath towls I use to cover the work bench as I am cleaning.
I went to costco and bought a bunch of white towels to use to cleaning, waxing, and polishing.  I use a spray wax as a lube and to protect the guns and mags.

I do!  ::) ;)

This cabinet is for cleaning and Target storage... Bottom two shelves are targets, upper three are all cleaning related items.

This is all chemicals, left is solvents and right is oils.

This is Patches, Brushes, Swabs and pistol rods. (I buy brushes by the dozen...)

This is some more brushes and rods in a tray that fits in the wooden box above.

Here is a assortment of rods, mostly Dewey

CW,
You my friend have too much time on your hands. ;D   Actually, I wish I was that organized.

I can still see through all of them.  No obstructions.  Cleaning.....that's why they made jacketed bullets.  Yeah, once in a while ya gotta chase the spiders out or collect their rent.

Seriously, we have guys here that want to clean after every other shot.  You'll wear a barrel out quicker cleaning it than you will shooting it.  On top of that, I haven't owned a single Handi that shot better clean.  They all like some crud.

The thing that troubles me about leaving some 'crud' in there is that some modern commercial powder residue is hygoscopic (attracts and hold moisture) and can, when humid, create rust UNDER the fouling layer. A perfect example of this is black powder fouling, BUT some smokeless can do it too; I know, had it happen  :'( >:( . A humid summer in Wisconsin is enough for trouble, winter (furnace on ) not so much. A dry environment and/or a dryer in your gun safe can minimize or eliminate this. If you have neither I suggest you swab 'em and get a protective layer down. This doesnt mean 'clean' like some guys do........for me it is a couple of Ed's Red or even WD-40 patches, first one pushes junk out and the second has hardlly any residue so I flip it and run thru again for the coating effect. If, by chance, it has residue of any consequence, I run a third, but that is pretty rare. Quick, easy and way more happy for me than the rust I found years ago! Before shooting I run a dry patch thru, flip it and thru again and done. Go shooting, after a couple of shots mine settle right down (or is it me?). Of course, if the last session was for a hunting gun with season just around the corner, that puppy stays 'dirty' and ready to rock.

i have amassed several cleaning rods more jags than i care to count, pull through,s , bore snakes mops, solvent i use is left over from Vietnam bore cleaner, still have about 40 pint cans, and weapons oil about 30 bottles, throw in the graphite, patches, bolt grease, lead screen removers, brass wool, seems like some one has made a bench just for gun cleaning, i do clean after every range session and oil everything about every 4 months, just habits learned from my grandfather

2 sizes of Boresnakes cover most of what I do anymore.  After all, I'm not supposed to 'clean' my Handi's anyway, am I?  ha ha.  A box full of rods and jags and brushes but honestly, the boresnakes are now my go-to product.  Usually just a quick pull through (dry) after a range session.  44 Man

The first one I bought was for the 17 cause I did not have anything to clean that caliber. It does work well and I too have bought a couple to beep in range bags and postil boxes.

Just Monday night it saved me for a DQ!  My one pistol was having alibi after alibi. The ROnis only so tolerant. When I was lucky enough for someone else had a misfire. I quickly ran the snake thru the bore before anyone noticed and she ran like poop thru a goose after that!

What a great  idea :o   I threaded the tangs on some chain saw files; put them on a cleaning rod; chucked up the rod on a high speed drill and run them through :o ??? 8)   When the metal flakes stop coming out she's clean :o :o :o :o :o :o

Please don't believe any of the above.

I have one of the old original German (forget the maker) ones. You have to be able to get the lid up  to open the drawers so you can put stuff on the lid.
You have to keep stuff from in front of the drawers to open them, so you lose valuable bench space in front.
But I will give you that the stuff, whatever it is, thats in the drawers is organized........... :P .
