never had one of those.
had the other two with that
same handle, and i had to let
them go. the first one i had thoght
it was a poor blade design. i couldn't use
the thing for over five minutes without
bad hand and arm fatigue. got rid of
that one and got the other.(bolo i think)
same deal. five minutes and cramped
and sore hand and arm. it was the
poor handle design. myself, i think the
latin series machetes are head and
shoulders the best i've ever used.
i can use one of those most all day
working on the fencerow and not have
cramped and fatigued arm and hand.
the steel is good, although i think it may
be the same steel as the other cold
steel machetes. junk saplings and briars
are no match for this blade. i've about
wore one out between working it and
resharpening. next one i get will be the
longer model to see if it will keep my
hand farther from the briars. but i
can't say or not if it will be more
unwieldy than the shorter model.
