as a rule, most sks's don't group
all that great hot.
if you get a fist-sized 3 shot
group you've done fairly good.
too many barrel attachment points
for it to group hot. they're built
for reliability and ruggedness and
to shoot americans with anyway,
not for moa. you do need to get all
the cosmoline out of the action though.
take the stock and gas tube off and completely
clean and re-lube it . that cosmoline is
a rust preventative, not there for lubrication.
i still wouldn't trade mine off though.
