Posting pic problem?
« on: December 29, 2012, 02:51:01 AM »
Hey quick,  tried posting a couple of pics of my son's gator taken with his handi rifle.  I did the usual copy from photo bucket and tried to paste it,  and it wouldn't let me.  I just switched my computer over to firefox, and am learning how to manuever on it, but I had posted the pics on another forum, with no problems.  Got any idea what's going on?

I have firefox and I use Imageshack a very good and free image host, I also use Photobucket, just move your mouse pointer over the thumbnail of the pic you want to upload and left click "IMG code" (it's automatic no need to copy the image) CTRL+V to past the pic in your text of your thread.

Here's a test with Photobucket

I-Mac/Firefox test: In Photobucket I had to rt-click on the Image code below the thumbnail to get the 'copy' window, then come here and rt-click to 'paste'

Firefox doesnt play nice with photobucket....

I use both and fin the ''old'' method of Ctrl V to post pics with no problem...

Go to photobucket nd copy pic address as always, when posting in a thread, click where you want the pic and depress the Ctrl and letter''v'' key at the same time. it will post the ''coppied'' address in the thread. Nice this is it works everywhere, so I use this as the only way I post a pic... ;)

Try a search of Firefox and Photobucket there is much to read and other work arounds. This is what works for me..

Yeah, sometimes I have trouble getting the window up to choose cut/copy & paste on the rt-click; futzin' around usually get it (I think the above is the only time Ive done a pic here and had it in a short bit of messing about). Guess I need to load more pics to PB to get more here instead of just yappin' about 'em.
