broken transfer bar
« on: December 21, 2012, 02:38:33 PM »
I was shootin my 44 this afternoon, got 28 rounds down range then had a misfire. Recocked and it just clicked again. No pin mark on the primer. Anyway long story short, the transfer bar is gone on my older H&R cast iron frame. Anyone recomend somewhere or someone that can fix and/or replace it? Colonelsanders

If it was made '87 or later(build year codes in FAQs), H&R will repair it, or you can do it yourself, Numrich has the t-bars(lifter/striker), download Perklo's trigger hone instructions which cover the t-bar R&R.
