Always learning. In the H&R on line catalog it shows the Buffalo Classic (CR 1871)with a case colored receiver. Doesn't say its a SB1 or SB2 receiver. It shows a Handi rifle in the catalog with a blued receiver and in the specs lists the model as a SB2 45-70 Govt. Saw a Buffalo Classic for sale on Gun Broker with very good photo of the barrel. It was marked H&R 1871 Buffalo Classic 45-70 Govt. also had a case colored receiver. Question, can I use full power 45-70 loads in a Buffalo Classic rifle? Regards, Piney Creek

Yes, the BC frame is the same SB2 frame as the Handi-rifle, it just has faux case coloring instead of blueing.
