just ordered my barrel from vv today 21"ss ported 50 ak.their prices have gone up a little from what is posted on their page.the barrel with shipping was $530.the nice thing is 1/2 down the rest when finished,softens the blow a little.while i was at it i ordered a new 24" rifled slug barrel from cabelas with a realtree forearm to match my 209x50 buttstock.this forearm will fit the new 50 ak, will have the same contour as the shotgun so i can use the same forearm,saves me $46.i'm thinking about that .405 barrel cabelas has .just haven't really convinced myself i need it yet.they[cabelas]have a few exclusive barrels not available from t/c.must have come from fox ridge i guess.their prices aren't to bad either.
