Steel BBs in a 412
« on: January 23, 2013, 04:26:24 PM »
I cant find lead BB so I am thinking about going with steel bb.  Does anyone know of any problems using 3 inch steel BB in a 76mm/3 inch 12 ga on a Valmet 412.

thanks
Doug

I don't remember what was said about steel in the 412's...  They tend to be choked pretty tight, and i don't think that's a good combo for steel.  Perhaps the bbls with tubes in them would be OK with an more open choke in it.

I was thinking about the steel BB and am passing on it.  I really like the 3 inch lead BB or BBB for varmint control.
