Playin' with the 38-55s
« on: November 30, 2012, 11:16:34 AM »
Just thought ya'all would like to know that my TM with the peep and hunting bead was hitting right on offhand at 100yd. (I was aiming at light colored leaf size chunks in the neighbor's field) and the 'schuetzen' TM with the 6X scope nailed a fist sized rock on the 2nd shot at 130ish and half covered it (a low hit right in front) on the 3rd. shot. BTW, the 1st was about foot low in front so I cranked in some elev.
Load is the 250ish gr. Lee cast of 'garagalloy' and 14.0 (a 'full' case) of that rotten old Trail Boss that Im tryin' to get rid of  ;) (by shootin' it all the time).
