Latch spring problem
« on: November 06, 2012, 11:07:46 AM »
Think I'm having a latch spring problem on my maxi.  Latch rattles and is loose when opened, getting quite a few pop opens.  Anything other than the latch spring cause it to be loose and rattling when open?

Found some springs mentioned in the FAQs latch engagement from McMaster Car.

I was able to get replacements form McMaster Carr. I also got PLUS power springs as I thought the latch may be rebounding under recoil in stiff recoiling calibers.

If you have problems finding any PM me. I am pretty sure I stil have some, I'll send you one. ;)

Could be a broken latch too.  :(
