Spent yesterday pm at local quarterly gun auction. Results of interest here- Handi---- 22 Hornet in Syn (super?)light w/ simons 8 point 3X9 scope $240, 204 ruger w/lam monte C stock, bsa scope $255, Std Handi syn, 30/30 and 20ga barrel & simmons 8 point 3X9 --$285, and a 158 (?) Huntsman w/ 12,20, and 30/30 barrel w/ 3X9 bushnell $295, plain 12ga w/ case hardened frame and schnabel pw stock $90. Prices overall were down for most things. Ammo not as high but volume was impressive, probably 40K + rounds sold. This is just before deer season here, several small LGS were buying up ammo, some from estate sales etc. fyi. I don't have enough spare change to speculate, I went to $200 on the Hornet just on gen principles.
