HS Precision rifles - opinions?
« on: February 08, 2004, 12:58:37 PM »
Considering a HS Precision Sporter in left hand and looking for opinions on their rifles. Can't find another brand lefty stainless/synthetic I feel confident about. This will be my only gun for deer hunting. Thanks!

I have never OWNED an HS Precision Rifle, I have fired a couple, and played with some others and have found the quality to be VERY GOOD.  I use alot of their stocks.

But doesn't Remington make a lefthanded action.

Great rifles....better be for the price!!! Remington makes a laminate SS in LF if interested plus a few others at 75% of price of the Precision rifle. Can't beat the Precision stock though. I have a Rem Sendero with one and it best rifle I own for accuracy, fit and pure performance.  If you are looking for that kind of quality at that price, Remington custom shop can do what you want as well. Sako makes a LF as well in SS.

Unfortunately Sako does not make a SS in left hand or I'd be on it like a chicken on a june bug. I have taken a look at the Model 700 Custom KS Mountain Rifle but have been unable to get much feedback on them other than Remingtons custom work is over priced for what you get. They are about $500 less than the HS.
