New Mexico Governor Susana Martinez
« on: August 30, 2012, 07:18:20 AM »
I watched Condi Rice speak last night at the RNC Convention. She has always impressed me as being a very level headed and smart person. I'd vote for her  if she ever ran for President, but it doesn't sound like she ever will. After she finished speaking I thought whoever follows her has a tough act to follow. Out comes New Mexico Governor Susana Martinez. I have never heard of her but it turns out she once was a Democrat and crossed over to the Republican party. She too came across as a very capable individual. I'm betting we hear more from her in the near future.

Governor Martinez is doing a good job in my opinion. Much better than ol' Spend Every Dime You Can Get Your Hands on Fat Bill before her. She catches a lot of flack from the dems, (or is that dims?) that control the NM legislature. If Bill wanted it they went along. Now that a republican is governor they don't care for anything she suggests even if the citizens were tired enough of what was going on to elect a republican.  Same ol', same ol'. People are tired of the dems spending and they elect a republican, republican can't accomplish anything with the dem legislature, people elect a dem for governor and get run away spending again and the cycle repeats itself.  ::) Not all dems are bad. "Mr. No", John Arthur Smith knows where the money comes from and not to waste it. I wish there were more like him.

Susanna promised if elected she would sell that fancy damn airplane Bill had to have and she did.
