At this time the "poll" is indicating that 97% of the responders believe that the Second Amendment gives the individual right to bear arms......good as far as it goes!
However there may be an underlying agenda there. You see, the Second Amendment does NOT give us that right! It simply AFFIRMS that the right exists and the government may not infringe on it. The right to bear arms is a God given right that no law of man can take away.
The people who push these polls are always hoping that they can get the results they want and then use that as a lever to push for the repeal of the Second Amendment and the end of private gun ownership thereby. Not understanding that the Second does not really give that right. If enough people believe that it does, they will have the beginnings of what it takes to repeal it!
