Has anyone eat one of the sample boxes of Quaker Oats cereal that come in the packing carton from Midway, USA? I have been getting them in shipments from Midway, USA and throwing them in the pantry. I was looking for a snack earlier today and grabbed one of the boxes. It was sealed in plastic wrap, box was sealed, and the packet of cereal was sealed. I opened the box, dumped some dry cereal in my mouth and started noticing the cereal tasted like it was laced with gun oil. I guess it would have been tastier if it had Hoppe#9. The taste does linger, even after I brushed my teeth. I guess a shot or two of Old No. 7 will kill the taste.
