Guess what I saw yesterday....
« on: May 11, 2012, 08:25:41 AM »
I had in my hands a ratty, nickel M258, straight stock, two barrel 357Mag 20 gauge... 200$. It was pretty ratty or I would have brought it home...

Wasn't someone looming for a nickel 357???

Sounds like a project set.  Were the bores any good?  That slim contour .357 barrel bobbed to 16.5 and reblued would be sweet on the refinished stock set or a youth synthetic and a newer frame.  The old frame could live with the shotgun barrel for a beater.  Just now, I have three too many beater shotguns. ::)

If the bores are fine, a good coat of stainless Duracoat will fix the cosmetic issues. ;)
