Benefits of New Stock?

I was thinking bout getting a new stock put on my A-Bolt 7mm-08. What are the benefits?

Well I just restocked a 700. Benefits, how about because you want to? Or because you hate that dang ugly factory stock. I hated the 700BDL stock, and I put on a beautiful piece of walnut, with not monte carlo or a shine you can see 100 yards away.  

Not sure what you want to do. If you are the X gen, I have do doubt you are looking for a piece of plastic to put on it.  More details.

It has a wood stock on it now and I was thinking about getting a McMillain put on it but $330 + is a lot of money.  The stock that I really want is the thumb hole stocks that come on the Browning Eclipse.  I really don't know where to get one from.  Or how much they cost.
