John nice to hear from you.I have been in Mexico,and now am in Florida.As far as the 7MM/08,you are of course right.I let a bad experience on a elk hunt when using a 7MM/08,poison me against the 7MM/08 as a big game round.While it could have been many other factors that caused the failure of a clean kill.Instead of its diameter,energy and so fourth.
As far as the 375Win on cape buffalo,it has been done and was proven to me via pictures and details that were on Marlin Talk.So to state I have not or do not know of anyone that has used a 375Win on dangerous game with great results IS FALSE.Also I DO NOT RECOMMEND THE 375WIN TO ANYONE FOR ANYTHING.I SAID I WOULD NOT HESITATE TO USE IT ON BIG BEAR,AND FEEL BASED ON MY EXPERIENCE WITH IT,IT WOULD DO JUST FINE.
Again only time will tell as far as the 375Win and its ability on large and dangerous game,OTHER THAN ITS ALREADY PROVEN HUNTS ON ELK,MOOSE,RED DEER AND EVEN CAPE BUFFALO.
