I just purchased a used Benelli Nova in 12ga.
I was wondering if anyone could tell me the difference between the Nova, and the "Super Nova"?
Thanks for any help.
The Super Nove has a removable stock the Nova does not. The super nova can take a pistol grip.
other than that they are really the same, share the same barrels.
I have had a Nova for quite a few years and have a few thousand rounds through it shooting sporting clays, trap, skeet and hunting. Not to mention the one my Step mother has in NC she won at a DU dinner I use when there.
Great gun.
After the last trap shoot I broke the whole gun down and cleaned, oiled and greased the gun. After 8+ years of little care it still looks brand new.
I bought it as a care free duck gun.
I like the plastic stock, as we were hunting ducks in a salt marsh that had other guns rusting in a few hours. I like the ability to take the 3.5" shells for geese. I like the sling swivels and a sling goes on it for transport in or out of the blind or field.
