G,day guys

.
Looking at a new lightweight setup(308W) for the scrub.
A while back I bought an older Sako L579 for this very reason.
But on doing research on what's available it seems my choices are limited on a ultralight weight stock(McMillan Edge, which I can get here in Oz,but not that model).
This is what I had planned=McMillan Edge stock,S/Steel Shilen 20" fluted barrel,Reblue all other parts,Sako Optilocks with a Leupold VX11 2-7 x33(wide reticle) sitting on top.
Have any of you boys had this trouble with stock fit?If so what do you suggest?
Okay the other options are a new rifle

,which is always a great option.
Sako Finnlight verses Kimber Montana?
Of course with a VX11 2-7x33 or maybe even a VX111 2.5-8x36.But I do like the view better on the 2-7.
The other outsider that I have been considering for years now is the Blaser.
Just dont know about this straight pullback system.
I do like the idea of the bolt handle as a extra backup safety lug on my other rifles but I also luv how quick I can follow up with the Blaser(Like a Pump or lever). And being pretty conservative by nature I am wary of innovation for it's own sake.
What are your thoughts on this spaceage rifle?
Cheers,
Tez
